MEWP - Saturday

This class focuses on safety protocols and best practices for handling scenes involving weapons in film and television productions. This course covers essential topics such as weapon handling procedures, safety checks, coordination with armorers, and maintaining a secure set environment. Designed for crew members in all departments, this training ensures that everyone on set understands their role in creating a safe and controlled environment when weapons are present.

The OSHA 10 training covers general industry safety and health principles and OSHA policies, procedures, and standards. Modules are customized for the entertainment and exhibition industries and include: Introduction to OSHA; Personal Protective Equipment; Materials Handling, Storage, Use, and Disposal; Mobile Elevating Work Platforms; Walking and Working Surfaces; Hazard Communication; Electrical Safety for the Entertainment Industry; Ergonomics; Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, and Fire Protection; Fall Protection; Hand and Portable Powered Tool Safety.  Class size is 25 students max
